Bavarian Innovation Award 2006 for Germany's First Natural Medicinal Water Lake

The FrankenTherme Bad Königshofen received the 2006 Bavarian Innovation Award for Germany's first natural healing-water lake.

You can "enjoy healing waters in harmony with nature" within the unique natural healing-water landscape of the FrankenTherme.
Allow yourself to be pampered with underwater massages on benches and bubble loungers, as well as via underwater jets and cascades in the healing-water lake. Savor the invigorating effects of the pure, pleasantly tempered healing water (28–30°C) from the Regius Spring, set within an Alpine-style ambiance: a rocky grotto featuring a spring stone and watercourse, rocky shores, and an expansive beach paved with natural stone slabs.

Experience the health-promoting and soothing effects on your musculoskeletal system and skin as you bathe in our nearly pristine healing water, which undergoes a fully biological purification process. The healing water is heated using renewable thermal energy supplied by a biogas plant.

Recharge your health by bathing in the healing water from our "Urbani" and "Regius" mineral springs—a calcium-sodium-sulfate-chloride water.
You can also enjoy our healing water at the Lotus Fountain within the FrankenTherme and in the Graduation Pavilion.
